Music Studios:
M1 boasts with some of the largest and most sophisticated recording studios in Kwazulu Natal. Our studios range from those handling pre-production, like the laying down of tracks, through to advanced recording and post production facilities (Mixing and Mastering).
RBF Studio’s are equipped to offer you all types of formatting, from R-DAT to Mini Disk, Multi Track Audio Tape and CD recordings. The M1 Studio is the studio in which orchestras and symphonic concerts are performed live and recorded.
Whilst walking through M1 one can almost hear the walls exuding sounds of grandeur and majesty off splendor to come. M1 seats 150people comfortably. Equipped with analogue mixers with protools interface and two Steinway concert grand piano.
Packaging Studios:
Audience participation for quiz shows, live discussions and variety programmes are made possible in our studios. The audiences and listeners are encouraged to participate in the shows while recording is in progress to create an atmosphere of a live program. Equipped with Dalet recording and editing facilities.
RBF’s advanced facilities allow for live on air broadcasts, production of documentaries, telephone interviews, link ups with outside broadcast points and national or international conferences via ISDN or satellite links. Plus off-air recording of your service in accordance with the I.B.A regulations
Drama Studios:
Radio drama has always been the theatre of the mind. In our drama studios we are able to accommodate any specialized drama production, including live sound effects as well as offering ‘inside’ and ‘outside’ acoustics rooms. If the sound effect does not already exist, we will create it!
Actuality Studios:

Remote Studios:
The RBF Remote facility offers mobile recording and broadcasting units which are staffed by fully qualified technicians trained in live entertainment and events broadcast.
